Why take our Design Sprint Facilitator course?

Most meetings are a waste of time.

Meetings that could have been an email, Slack message or could have been spend on doing the actual work instead.

But the Design Sprint is different. In four days you and your team follow a proven recipe that helps you get from big idea, to validated prototype.

Companies like Google, Lego and Uber use Design  Sprints to quickly build and test new ideas with real customers. Do you want a practical approach to help your team innovate? And learn how to lead your team to success? Than learning how to facilitate Design Sprints is your best next step. In this two-day live training, you'll learn by doing.

You'll go through a real-life Sprint scenario as a group, and will practice facilitating crucial Design Sprint exercises.

This course will teach you how to facilitate engaging (virtual) Design Sprints, that will help you team to solve problems, brainstorm ideas and make decisions. Skills and exercises that you can apply in your day-to-day work.

Teams

who want less meetings and build products their customers love

CEO & Managers

who want their team focused and aligned on the right priorities

Consultants

to get on the same page with clients quickly and remove assumptions

Here's what you'll learn:

Gain confidence as a workshop facilitator

You'll learn how to deal with groups, handle unexpected situations and practice facilitation in a safe environment with real-life scenario's.

Understand when and how to use Design Sprints

Design Sprints are amazing when used the right way. But can also be very stressful if executed poorly. You'll learn how to best prepare for a Sprint, and also when other pathways are a better option.

Learn how to use Miro for productive meetings

Arthur is a Miro Hero and Miroverse Award winner. The Miro templates in this course, will help you to run a Sprint in no time. During the course, you'll learn how to use Miro's features like Timer, Voting, Private Mode, Polling, and sorting sticky notes quickly.

Help your team to rapidly combine multiple ideas into the best possible solution

Learn structured exercises that will enable groups to generate many ideas in no time. And then spot patterns, remix & improve the best one into a real looking prototype.

Learn how to test your ideas with customer interviews and define your next steps

Learning from (potential) end users is the best way to see if your ideas stick, or not. You'll learn a proven recipe for doing multiple customer interviews in a day. The interview results will help you define the next steps for after the sprint.

How the program looks like

Curriculum

Chances are at this stage you have a couple questions. We encourage our students to ask questions directly and you can arrange a quick call with us anytime.
Ask a question via email

How many people are in a course?
Each course has maximum 10 professionals - both the Cohort and Team course. For us, it's important to keep these courses super personal. This personal model ensures we can support and motivate 100% of students to graduate and have an awesome experience.

What's the difference between Design Sprints and Design Thinking?
Think of Design Thinking like a type of kitchen, like Asian or French. A Design Sprint is a proven framework in that kitchen, kinda like a cookbook.

Who is on the course with me?
You will learn with peers so that you can share experiences and hold each-other accountable.

What if my team is really busy?
This course will help your team save time in their day-to-day work, by directly applying what they learned. It's like sharpening your ax, so you can cut down the trees faster. The course design fits your current priorities as much as possible.

Do I get a qualification?
Yes, you get a certificate from Workshop Wednesday that you’ve completed the course and you can display this on your LinkedIn profile and CV.
